HEALTH NORDIC
OVULATION TEST

With the Health Nordic Ovulation Test, determine your ovulation phase and optimize your chances of conception.

When trying for a baby, timing is essential. A woman's window for conception is brief each cycle.

This test helps pinpoint your two most fertile days by detecting the surge in Luteinizing Hormone (LH) in urine levels exceeding 25mlU/ml.

Testing Tips

  • Best results are achieved when tests are done between 10am and 8pm, the optimal window for LH detection in urine.

  • Peak fertility occurs on the day of the LH surge and the following day. Engaging in intercourse within this 48-hour period maximizes conception chances.

Key Features

  • Distinct results with one or two lines.

  • Indicates your two peak fertility days each cycle.

  • Midstream (Stav) can be urinated directly on.

  • Easy-to-use stick (Strimmel), simply immerse in a urine sample.

UNDERSTANDING LH HORMONE MEASUREMENT

Modern methods, like hormone tracking, offer more reliability than traditional ovulation detection practices such as observing secretions or monitoring body temperature. LH hormone plays a crucial role in ovulation. Its levels surge 1-3 days prior to ovulation, essentially signaling the ovary to release an egg. The duration of this LH surge can vary among women. Conveniently, LH is excreted in the urine, making it accessible for at-home testing.

Utilizing a urine dipstick like the Health Nordic Ovulation Test allows you to monitor LH levels. It's recommended to conduct the test consistently, at the same time daily. Detailed usage instructions are provided in the packaging.

For added confirmation, some women's health clinics employ tests measuring the corpus luteum hormone in blood. Typically, samples are collected on the 21st and 23rd days of the menstrual cycle. Values must exceed a set threshold to confirm ovulation.
