Understanding the Test: When conception occurs, the body begins producing hCG (human Chorionic Gonadotropin). Our test's sensitivity can detect as little as 10 mlU/ml of hCG in urine. As pregnancy progresses, hCG levels rise, making it detectable even 6 days before a missed period*. Morning urine is best for testing due to its higher hCG concentration.

UNDERSTANDING THE TEST
About the hCG Hormone: A hallmark of pregnancy, hCG is present whether you're testing at home with Health Nordic or consulting a professional. This hormone appears in urine following egg fertilization and increases as the pregnancy progresses.
Typically, hCG starts being produced after the egg attaches to the uterine lining, around 6-10 days post-fertilization. Its levels then rapidly increase, expected to double roughly every three days during the pregnancy's initial stages. By the expected menstruation date, most women have reached an hCG level of 25mIU/ml or higher.

However, individual experiences can vary. Some might see positive results a few days before their expected period, while others might need to wait slightly longer. If Health Nordic's test indicates a positive result, it's highly reliable. Remember, this test merely confirms the presence of hCG and doesn't provide specifics about the pregnancy's location, duration, or overall health.
